Hello everyone!

Welcome to my blog.

The articles I uploaded in the past week were all journalism-related writings. But for today, I’m going to be sharing with you a different writing content that’s more focused on communication research.

Doodle by: Khristine Osoteo

So to start, I created a hand-drawn doodle of not only my experience in my research course but also my life as a college student. It’s been hard for me to adjust to online learning since the pandemic began last year but I’m now more used to it. With that being said, the process of creating this doodle was both fun and challenging. It was fun because I was able to reflect back on things that occurred before and during the pandemic like me attending university classes, my daily routine in university and the academic tasks I’ve been working on even as I traveled back home. On the other hand, it was challenging because I wasn’t sure if I was able to capture the right emotions in the doodle since I don’t live in a pre-Covid-19 or early Covid-19 time anymore. But from what I made, I can say that I’m satisfied with how it looks. I’m not going to elaborate on the details of the artwork so you will have the chance as an artist, a reader or a writer to appreciate or comment your response to it. I want to say though, that I like what I’ve done in terms of the minimal colors that I used. Sometimes too much color distracts you from focusing at even one image or inscribed writing on a page, hence this thought has truly influenced my artwork.

I look forward to sharing more content about my research course with you all . Thank you for taking the time to read the article and view the doodle.
